Process
1. Understanding the Brief
I began by diving deep into the project goals and audience needs. This initial phase involved discussions with the team to capture the essence of what the report needed to convey.
2. Concept Development
Next, I developed a design concept that balanced clarity with visual appeal. The aim was to ensure that data, text, and video worked together seamlessly to tell the story of Brazil’s contrasting extremes.
Header images for each report in the series, created within the established visual identity.
Portraits of characters with highlighted quotes featured in the texts.
Animated sequences for videos that accompanied the reports, showcased in a dedicated Colabora YouTube playlist.
3. Design Implementation
With the concept in place, I created detailed graphic elements using Adobe Creative Suite. I then integrated these designs into the website using WordPress, PHP, CSS, and HTML, ensuring that the interactive elements enhanced the storytelling.
